 Mustard Couch was formed by sheer fate in the late summer of 1997. Since then, the band has been performing in venues locally and regionally. The band is influenced by jazz, funk, reggae, rock, and progressive song-writing with hints of Stone Temple Pilots, Living Colour, Frank Zappa, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Defined by its own style, Mustard Couch is a mustered melange of modern music. The band released a self-titled 5-song CD in 1998.
