| Canvas, The FED'S, and Level at Gee Coffee Friday, May 30th ---By Shudderbug First Canvas went on with a wholesome crowd looking on...their music could be described as heavy metal with rap vocals... loud and raunchy...with some catchy beats. This bands rhythms were tight behind the wall of chaotic noise created by the guitar. Next up were the Feds who brought in a lot of fans and were stoked with the crowd...a mass of bodies moshed around in front of the stage while others "took flight" amidst the fans. A couple of technical difficulties delayed the Feds for a few minutes which ultimately led to them not getting to finish their set. Level was up shortly after and was not accompanied by the full house of before... only their hard core fans still stood...nevertheless, the sounds from Level were left undetered by the abscence, and they played on with their funkin' grooves. Overall, the show was VERY cool and was full of dancin and moshin. |
